YouParcel takes the security of your business data and your customers' personal data seriously. This article outlines our approach to data security in the context of fulfillment operations.

Customer Data We Handle

To fulfill orders on your behalf, YouParcel processes the following customer data:

  • Customer name, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
  • Order details (items ordered, quantities, values).

We do not store or access your customers' payment information. Payment processing occurs entirely within your own sales platform.

Data Security Practices

  • Customer data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders and is not shared with third parties except to the extent required to operate shipping services (carrier label creation).
  • Access to your account data within our systems is restricted to authorized YouParcel staff on a need-to-know basis.

GDPR and Data Privacy Compliance

If you serve customers in the European Union, your privacy policy and data processing agreements must account for the transfer of EU customer data to a US-based processor (YouParcel). Please discuss your GDPR obligations with your legal counsel and contact your account manager if you require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
