Order Statuses Explained

Understanding order statuses helps you monitor fulfillment progress and identify issues quickly.

Status Definitions

  • Pending: The order has been received by the system but has not yet been released for picking. This may be due to a processing queue, insufficient inventory, or a hold.
  • Released / In Progress: The order has been released to the warehouse floor for picking and packing.
  • Picked: All units for the order have been located and picked from the warehouse shelves.
  • Packed: The order has been packed into its shipping carton and is awaiting a label.
  • Labeled / Ready to Ship: A shipping label has been printed and applied. The order is awaiting carrier pickup.
  • Shipped: The carrier has scanned the package, confirming pickup. A tracking number is available.
  • Delivered: The carrier has confirmed delivery to the end customer's address.
  • Exception: An issue has occurred (address problem, carrier exception, returned to sender, etc.). Review required.
  • Cancelled: The order was cancelled before shipment.

Where to Check Order Status

Order statuses are synced back to your connected sales platform (e.g., Shopify) automatically. For detailed status or exception handling, submit a ticket with the order number.
