Receiving Timeframes and SLA

Receiving Timeframes and SLA

Understanding how long receiving takes helps you plan inventory replenishment and avoid stockouts.

Standard Receiving SLA

For shipments accompanied by a properly submitted ASN and correctly labeled cartons, YouParcel targets the following receiving timeframes:

  • Parcel shipments (UPS/FedEx/USPS): Processed within 1 to 2 business days of delivery.
  • LTL pallet shipments: Processed within 2 to 3 business days of delivery.
  • FTL truck shipments: Processed within 3 to 5 business days depending on volume.

Factors That May Extend Processing Time

  • Missing or incorrect ASN.
  • Unlabeled or mislabeled cartons requiring manual identification.
  • Damaged shipments requiring inspection and photography before processing.
  • High inbound volume during peak periods (Q4, subscription box launch windows).

Receiving Confirmation

Once your shipment is fully processed, you will receive a receiving confirmation noting the quantities logged for each SKU. Review this against your ASN and notify your account manager of any discrepancies within 5 business days.

Rush Receiving

If you have an urgent receiving request, please contact your account manager as early as possible. Rush receiving may be available for an additional fee depending on current warehouse capacity.
