Returns Handling Overview

YouParcel provides end-to-end returns management as part of our fulfillment service. When a customer returns an order, we receive the package, inspect it according to your instructions, and update your inventory accordingly.

Types of Returns We Handle

  • Consumer DTC Returns: Individual packages returned by end customers via prepaid return labels or carrier drop-off.
  • B2B Returns: Pallet or case-level returns from retail partners or wholesale buyers.
  • Return to Origin (RTO): Packages that were undeliverable and returned to our warehouse by the carrier.
  • International Returns: Cross-border returns routed through our international returns network.

Return Inspection

Each returned unit is inspected against the inspection criteria you define. Standard inspection checks whether the item is unopened, sellable, damaged, or missing components. Items are then dispositioned according to your instructions.

Disposition Options

  • Restock: Grade A (sellable) units are returned to available inventory.
  • Quarantine for review: Items needing your decision are set aside with photos.
  • Liquidate / Donate: Non-sellable units can be arranged for liquidation or donation.
  • Destroy: For items that cannot be resold and must be disposed of securely.
