Setting Up Your Returns Policy and Instructions
What to Define
- Return address: Confirm which YouParcel warehouse location should receive returns for your account.
- Inspection criteria: What does a Grade A (restockable) unit look like? Define conditions such as "sealed in original packaging", "no visible damage", "all components present".
- Disposition rules by grade: For each grade level (A, B, C), specify the default action (restock, quarantine, donate, destroy).
- Photography: Do you want photos of every return, or only for damaged/disputed items?
- Reporting frequency: How often do you want returns summary reports (daily, weekly, monthly)?
Return Label Programs
YouParcel can provide prepaid return labels for your customers. We support:
- USPS return labels (most common for DTC).
- UPS and FedEx return services.
- QR code-based returns (no printer needed by the customer).
Contact your account manager to set up a return label program with your preferred carrier and branding.
