Tracking Numbers and Shipping Notifications
Once an order ships, a tracking number is generated and synced back to your connected platform. This article explains how tracking works and how to set up customer-facing notifications.
Where Tracking Numbers Go
Tracking numbers are automatically pushed back to your order management platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) as soon as a label is generated. From there, your platform's default or customized shipping notification email is sent to your customer.
Tracking Lookup
You can look up the tracking status of any shipment directly on the carrier's website using the tracking number. For bulk tracking queries or tracking issues, submit a ticket with the order number(s) and we will investigate.
Customer-Facing Tracking Pages
Most e-commerce platforms include a built-in order status page where customers can enter their order number and email to view tracking information. Make sure your platform's notification emails include a link to this page.
Delayed or Stuck Shipments
If a tracking number shows no movement for more than 5 business days after the ship date, submit a ticket. We will initiate a carrier trace investigation and advise on next steps, which may include filing a lost package claim.
