Understanding Your Inventory in the YouParcel System

Once your inventory is received and processed, it is available in the warehouse management system. This article explains how inventory is organized and how to view it.

Inventory Statuses

  • Available: Units that are in stock and ready to be allocated to orders.
  • Allocated: Units that have been assigned to an open order but not yet shipped.
  • On Hold / Quarantine: Units flagged due to damage, quality issues, or a hold placed by your team.
  • In Transit (Inbound): Shipments that have been declared via ASN but have not yet been physically received.

Viewing Your Inventory

Real-time inventory visibility is provided through your connected sales platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) via the integration. For detailed inventory reports, you may request a snapshot from your account manager or submit a ticket.

Low Stock Alerts

It is your responsibility to monitor inventory levels and send replenishment shipments before you run out of stock. If you would like to set up low-stock alerts, please discuss this with your account manager.

Cycle Counts

YouParcel performs periodic cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy. You may also request a full or partial inventory count at any time. Counts requested outside the standard schedule may incur a fee depending on the scope.
